We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney with a strong background in Florida real estate law and commercial transactions to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex real estate matters, including commercial transactions, leasing, financing, and land use issues. Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of real estate matters, including commercial property acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and other real estate documents.
- Conduct due diligence, including title examinations, surveys, and zoning compliance.
- Represent clients in real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with Florida state laws and regulations.
- Assist clients with land use and development issues, including permitting and rezoning matters.
- Handle litigation matters related to real estate disputes, as needed.
- Collaborate with clients, brokers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Stay updated on changes in Florida real estate laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely legal counsel.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 experience as a real estate attorney, with a focus on commercial transactions.
- Strong understanding of Florida real estate laws, including land use, zoning, and permitting.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and team members.
- Experience with title examination and resolution of title defects is preferred.
